The Hampton by Hilton delivered everything we needed: clean, comfortable, no surprises. Location is excellent, easy walking distance to the boulevard and city centre, which made getting around effortless.
One frustration worth flagging: we had an early departure to Tbilisi and asked staff the evening before about breakfast. We were told it would be available from 6:30am and that a lunch box wasn't an option the hotel offered. Fair enough, we planned around that. But when we came down the next morning, a different member of staff told us breakfast doesn't actually start until 7am and that we should just take whatever happened to be out, which was barely anything.
It's a small thing but when you're catching an early ride and have budgeted your morning around what you were told, inconsistent information from the team stings. A bit more staff alignment on early checkout situations would go a long way.
